Top-5 finish in Red Farmer Tribute finale at Talladega Short Track during NASCAR weekend

Participating in NASCAR weekend at the facility, Matt Dooley was one of 47 Crate Racin' USA entries at Talladega Short Track (Eastaboga, Ala.) on Friday afternoon for the two-day Red Farmer Tribute.

Finishing 10th in the $3,700-to-win opener, Dooley started sixth in Saturday's 60-lap finale and made up two spots to land inside the Top-5 in fourth. He trailed Cory Hedgecock, Randy Weaver, and Jimmy Thomas while Tyler Millwood completed the Top-5.
