Strong outing with Schaffer's Oil Southern Nationals at I-75 Raceway

Breaking out his No. 18 Super Late Model on Tuesday night, Matt Dooley joined a 29-car field at I-75 Raceway (Sweetwater, Tenn.) with the Schaffer's Oil Southern Nationals Series.

Locking himself into the $7,553-to-win main event through qualifying, Dooley started 11th and came home seventh in the 40 lapper.

Thursday's Roscoe Smith Classic at Senoia (Ga.) Raceway was rained out.
