Matt Dooley grabs 604 Late Model victory during Peach State Classic at Senoia
Matt Dooley was back behind the wheel of the Barry Copeland-owned No. 18 machine on Saturday afternoon as he competed in the 604 Late Model portion of the Peach State Classic at Senoia (Ga.) Raceway.
Laying down the fastest lap out of 37 Late Models who took times, Dooley sat on the pole for the 20-lap main event. Leading flag-to-flag, Matt held off Colby Darda and picked up his fifth checkered flag of the season.
Dooley also competed in the Limited Late Model class for Sunday's rescheduled portion where he would record a DNF in the 25-lap feature.
