Matt Dooley storms to sixth-place finish in Governor's Cup with Crate Racin' USA

Following Crate Racin' USA to Mississippi, Matt Dooley joined a massive 53-car field at Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Miss.) on Friday afternoon for the Governor's Cup.

Missing the setup in qualifying, Dooley started and finished eighth in his heat race which relegated him to a B-Main on Saturday. Having to take a provisional for the $10,000-to-win main event, Matt used all 75 laps to his advantage as his made his way around 15 competitors to land inside the Top-10 in sixth.
