Dooley seventh in The Gobbler at Cochran with Crate Racin' USA
Returning to Cochran (Ga.) Motor Speedway for the second week in a row, Matt Dooley was one of 23 Late Models checked in with Crate Racin' USA on Friday afternoon.
Following the seventh-fastest lap in his group, Dooley dealt with mechanical issues and was only able to gain one spot in his heat.
Rolling off 13th in the $10,000-to-win finale on Saturday, Matt moved into the Top-5 before struggling in the rubber towards the end of the 50-lap feature. Dooley wound up seventh when the checkered flag flew.
